Donald Trump Pins President Putin on Top of the Wall!

What remains unclear retains an aura of mystery. Probably this is the epitome of Donald Trump’s twitter outbursts. His tweets are sometimes quite vague and it is hard to come to a conclusion as to what the President-elect really meant with what he said.

Probably that has got to do something with Twitter’s character limits for each tweet, but this is something Trump has got to address soon as things are getting pretty sticky with all of these quite vague statements about highly important issues.

His latest tweet was a similar case as he talked about a supposed “delay” by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and he then went to praise his Russian counterpart by telling that he though the Putin is very smart.

The United States and Russia are now in the middle of a very cold period as allegations of Russian meddling through hacking in manipulating the US elections gain more and more heat, With the US even going to the point of asking 35 Russian diplomats to leave the country within the next 72 hours.

But the most surprising part of the story is that Russia didn’t seem to reply with the same measures against US diplomats in Russia. Putin even went to on to ask the US diplomats to celebrate their New Year with him in the Kremlin and he went on further and said that Russia won’t be expelling anyone. This was part of the official statement updated on the Kremlin’s website.

Donald Trump pinned his latest tweet to the top of his Twitter wall which went on to show how much he supported the Russian President. The hacking claims allege that Putin conspired to make Trump win the US elections, which did happen and it was a result that shocked everyone from economists to political pundits to the general public. On top of that Trump’s continued support of Putin and Putin’s seemingly “kind” gestures make this all very fishy and gives rise to heightened suspicions.

Putin’s mellow stance might be to buy time as Trump is to be inaugurated as US President in the next 20 days and begin times of special friendship and support. President Obama is on his way out, no matter what he does will probably won’t matter because there is no time to substantiate what he does.

Interesting times ahead indeed for Trump, Putin and the world at large.

Man Kicked Off Jet Blue Flight Because of Ivanka Trump

A passenger aboard the Jet Blue Flight Thursday morning at the JFK International Airport bound for Florida has been removed from the plane for being a public nuisance and being a cause of disturbance in an incident that involved Ivanka Trump. The cause behind the incident as stated by several different accounts from people aboard the flight report that the man was reportedly “berating” Ivanka Trump and her family just after the plane took off.

TMZ reports that the passenger spotted the President- Elect’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her family flying in coach on a flight bound for Florida. He further said “Your father is ruining the country,” the man told Trump, according to TMZ. “Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private.”

Right after this public outburst by the passenger, a JetBlue personnel removed him from the plane, the passenger resisted, and screamed saying: “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?”

JetBlue in a statement confirmed that they have indeed removed a passenger from the Florida-bound flight and have made arrangements for him and his family to travel on the next available flight.

“The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly,” a JetBlue spokesman said in a statement. “If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”

The first daughter (to be) of the United States, Ivanka Trump, seems to be getting the wrong type of attention from people that were not too happy with the outcome of the US presidential election and although she has been under the Secret Service protection since September due to threats, guess they can’t guard her against everything.

Uber’s Self-Driving Cars Pulled off CA Roads

Uber was forced to give in to the DMV after it confiscated the licenses of 16 of its vehicles.

In an email, the DMV claimed that the registrations were “improperly issued for these vehicles as they were not properly marked as test vehicles”.

There was little Uber could do after that other than admitting that the pilot program had been stopped and stated that it was now looking for alternate uses for the autonomous cars.

The vehicles now have to be reassigned but Uber is continuing its efforts to “develop workable statewide rules” so the cars can once again operate on California roads.

Earlier this month, Uber defied the DMV and launched its self-driving cars services in San Francisco without obtaining proper permits.

Uber launched in 2009 and has witnessed the sort of growth only a few small start-ups experience in the time of 7 years. Uber currently functions in 400 cities in 72 countries with revenue amounting to $1.5billion in 2015.

However, Uber’s success came with immense challenges. The company faced resistance from taxi-drivers unions in many countries as Uber seized their share of customers. Several governments questioned Uber’s recruitment tactics as it was revealed that many drivers did not have licenses.

The company faced its greatest threat when issues regarding the safety of its passengers arose and Uber found itself involved in ugly incidents of harassment, rape, and even murder.

Uber countered the security problem by improving its App to enable the tracking of vehicles and investing in customer service. Customers are asked to rate drivers after every journey, drivers with the lowest ratings are dropped. Uber’s customer service has helped it secure a loyal customer base that has vouched for it each time it was hit with a major PR crisis.

Other than geographical expansion, Uber has expanded its business model in the US by launching UberEats and UberRush. It has also launched UberAuto rickshaws in cities of Pakistan to adapt to the local market.

Other companies from around have adopted Uber’s business model since its launch but Uber remains on top of the market.

Trump wants to expand US Nuclear Capabilities!

0

Donald Trump has made twitter his empire, his personal spokesperson and his preferred form of contact to the outer world. However unprecedented this strategy might be for an elected US President to indulge in such behavior, one thing is undeniable, His words definitely hold weight even if they are using twitter as a medium.

The most recent in these certainly controversial tweets is his newest one where he has the opinion that the United States, already by far the world’s biggest nuclear power, should continue to expand its capabilities in the field.

The most challenging part of the tweet is when he says “until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding the nukes”. This line is open for anyone to interpret owing to its ambiguity and that too on such a highly sensitive topic.

When the person who now holds the world’s most powerful office calls for an increase in the nuclear capabilities and considering his hardline stance on everything else, this indeed calls for trouble, even if for the time being it’s confined to the social media.

Banning Muslims and building a wall to keep Mexicans out are some of the things he continuously said during his highly controversial campaign and the journey has not ended as he skewered Boeing on the same platform regarding a deal related to a future Air Force One Plane.

The President spoke so nonchalantly about the issue just after he was officially elected after a formal vote by the Electoral College is indeed a call to worry more about where this is going and where we will end up in the Trump-a-coaster that’s going haywire on Twitter.

Let’s reserve our thoughts for now until a new tweet creeps up and clarifies what he actually meant.

Iran Refuses to Cut Oil Output – Causes Oil Prices to Slide

Oil prices retract to $6 per barrel in New York

The world saw a continuous decline in the already tumultuous oil prices slide even further after OPEC officials could not come to an agreement to curb the excess supply and to convince Iran to backtrack on its oil production.

The oil prices started to slide after Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, The Iranian Oil Minister informed reporters in Vienna that Iran will not be cutting back on its oil output. A meeting that reportedly lasted for over 10 hours and focused solely on finding a solution to eradicate the oil glut and share the burden of the excess, with Iran failing to comply and committed to producing over 7 percent more than the proposed levels by Saudi Arabia.  The market seemed collected on Monday after Iraq’s Oil minister said in a statement that there are likely chances of the OPEC countries to come to an agreement causing the prices to rally by about 2.2 percent. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. however, stated that the pricing was based on a 30 percent chance of a deal happening.

As  per Morgan Stanley, The result of a deal between the OPEC could result in a boost of approximately $5 per barrel, however, a failure could further see the prices decline to up to $20, said the Chief Oil Analyst at Energy Aspects Ltd, Amrita Sen.

Saudi Arabia, for the first time in 8 years seemed favorable on the idea of curbing the excess oil production and resorting to optimum efficiency retracted on its stance Sunday when their Energy Minister, Khalid Al-Falih said: “producers don’t necessarily need to curb output.”

“There is some disappointment that no deal has been reached so far,” Giovanni Staunovo, an analyst at UBS Group AG in Zurich, said by e-mail. “The issues regarding Iran and Iraq remain almost the same as a few weeks ago.”

As the OPEC tries to solve its own issues and come to an agreement, the group is also reaching out to other countries and major oil producers such as Russia to curb their global supply glut by as much as 600,000 barrels per day. Russia’s refusal to do so resulted in the termination of a planned discussion of non-OPEC suppliers that was to be held on Monday.

WhatsApp Launches New Streaming Feature

Right after launching Video Calling, WhatsApp comes back with yet another feature

One of the nuisances of using WhatsApp has to be the unwanted media that takes up a considerable portion of our phone’s storage – whether you want it or not.

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that lets you stream videos while they are downloading in the background. Users do not have to wait for the whole video to download before they can view the video, making it a lot easier for users to handle and stream videos and effectively cutting out the wait time.

There are a number of ways this feature works. If your phone has the “download media automatically” enabled, the video will start downloading instantly and show you the progress, as usual. Now you do not have to wait for the whole video to be downloaded, you can start viewing the video as soon as portions of it have been downloaded and the progress bar at the footer of the video will be replaced with the duration of the video.

Although, if your device has not been setup to download media automatically, the play button will still appear but you will have the option of streaming the video without actually having to download the video to your device.

Not one to be the best of apps when it comes to new features and updates, WhatsApp has recently been proactive in introducing new features and improving the overall functionality of the application. I guess the 1 billion user mark really set them on the path to progression!

Automakers Jump on the BlackFriday Bandwagon

0

Automakers across the United States are scrambling to get their inventories in order ahead of the Black Friday weekend coming up.

Automakers across the United States are all set for the weekend and are gearing up to clear their stockpile this Black Friday through various sales promotions in order to effectively combat tumbling consumer demand and dispel investor doubts.

In a bid to finish strong this quarter, Automakers are making use of all means necessary to move their inventory and finish off with a minimal amount of inventory to carry forward next year.

Thanks to the tanking fuel costs and the unforeseen consumer demand shifting towards SUVs and pickup trucks, Automakers are left with a bulging inventory of compact cars, sports cars, and sedans that they need to push off their lots in order to post better financial results and retain investor trust.

In a desperate attempt to give boost to its numbers after disappointing sales figures for the month of October, Ford Motors (NYSE:F) was the first automaker to introduce a Black Friday Sales Promotion. Industry rival GM (NYSE:GM) followed suit with a month long Black Friday Deal with a discount of up to 20 percent on its pickup trucks.

Mark Fields, Chief Executive Office at Ford said in a statement: “We are seeing a tougher pricing environment, higher levels of discounts,” He further assured investors that the sales numbers for the month of November and December will be similar to those of last year.

Automakers have come to the realization that the six-year boom in the auto industry is coming to a slow halt and that similar promotions are imminent to keep car sales steady.
